Hi friends – I so enjoyed participating in McKinney’s Tiny Doors public art installation, which is a cooperative effort between McKinney Main Street, local artists, and Visit McKinney to provide a fun and engaging “tour” or scavenger hunt for visitors and locals.

Beth Fields did a wonderful job organizing the artists to design the doors, and I feel honored to have been selected to create one.

Visit McKinney is the local visitors center, and they created the following links:

The mannequin features a one-of-a-kind hand-painted floral dress by Deana, showcasing what is inside the shop. The Cynthia Elliot Boutique is known for unique, unusual, artistic, colorful, and feminine designs. Thus, Deana’s hand-painted floral border added a nice touch to the piece.

I hope you can take the tiny door tour next time you visit downtown McKinney. Hugs! Deana (Dee-na
